Before & After: Bald Eagle

Read on to see the before and the processing that got me to the after ...

• In Camera Raw (Lightroom): Added a touch of warmth with the WB tool and used fill  light to bring back some of the details in the dark areas
• Color corrected using the Curves adjustment layer
• Used the dodge tool to bring back some detail from under the wing
• Added canvas to all sides, and used Content Aware Scale to fill in the extra space
• Cropped the image to taste
• Resized for web (1200 px wide, 72 dpi)
• Sharpened for web
